When you observe the following symptoms please your doctor:

Breast cancer diagnosis consists of three main aspects called the ‘Triple Assessment•

  • Clinical Examination.
  • Sonomammography
  • Tissue Diagnosis

Three points are needed in order to decide the stage of the cancer:

  • Size of Tumor.
  • Lymph node spread
  • Distant metastasis.

A breast self-examination (BSE) allows you to examine your breast tissue for any physical or visual changes.

Look for the following changes in each of the mentioned steps:

  • Size, shape, and color
  • Distortion or swelling
  • Dimpling
  • Lump
  • Inverted Nipple
  • Redness, soreness, rash
  • Nipple Discharge
  • Get annual clinical breast examination from a breast specialist.
  • Do monthly breast self-examination.
  • For women under 40 years of age schedule a mammogram only for diagnosis of a suspected lump.
  • For women over 40 years of age
  • Schedule mammography screening once in every 2 years
