Diabetes and Endocrine Sciences

There are a number of glands in the Human Endocrine system and the glands secrete hormones that enter the bloodstream which transports them to different organs and tissues in every part of the body. Endocrinology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that involve hormones, which cover metabolism, respiration, growth, reproduction, sensory perception, and movement. One hormone may have several effects on different target organs, and conversely, one target organ may be affected by more than one hormone.

The Department of Endocrinology at RBH offers comprehensive Endocrinological care and non-invasive diagnostic services. Our endocrinologists are always available for consultation be it evaluation, diagnosis or treatment of problems arising from the malfunctioning of hormone-secreting glands and help in restoring the balance of hormones in the body of the patients.
