While consulting on Skype Dr. Sundeep Jain found that she is suffering from morbid obesity along with diabetes, high BP, sleep apnea and hypothyroidism.

Also if we treat her excessive weight the chances of recurrence of a hernia is reduced significantly.

Also, they have explained that the morbid obesity carries significant risk to life which can be reduced by weight reduction by bariatric surgery.

Following to which the patient along with her husband and son was admitted to our hospital. She was then operated and during operation found to have 6 hernias with intestine stuck inside them. She underwent laparoscopic bariatric surgery along with hernia repair. Postoperatively she recovered very well and was discharged after 5 days. Important to note is that her diabetes, high BP, and sleep apnea were under control without any drugs

The patient and their family are very satisfied with the good quality treatment and facility of our doctor and hospital.

Dr. Sundeep Jain said “After surgery, most patients return to work in one or two weeks. The patient will have low energy for a while after surgery and may need to have some half days or work every other day for your first week back. Because of these risks, Bariatric surgery usually isn’t redone if patient regains weight because of poor diet or exercise habits. Bariatric surgery can be an effective treatment for obesity, and most people do lose weight after the procedure if they are adequately prepared for the changes that are necessary.”
